Kaiku
A product you can only judge by ear, sold through a browser.

The brief
Kaiku sells panels that change how a room sounds. Every competitor sells them as a photograph of a wall. The product cannot be heard in a browser, which is the problem the site had to solve.
The approach
- Put a real before-and-after audio comparison on the product page, so the difference is heard in the first ten seconds.
- Rebuilt the configurator around the room rather than the product: you describe the space, it recommends coverage.
- A restrained motion system carries the acoustic idea: surfaces settle rather than snap.
The outcome
A product page that answers the only question buyers actually have, without a showroom visit.
A concept piece. Figures describe the intended result, not measured results.
